The supply-only model
We design and supply. Your team installs.
It keeps costs sane, keeps your programme in your control, and keeps our attention where it belongs — on the stone.
Carving & sign-off
CNC cutting, then hand-finishing, then dry assembly in our yard. You approve from photographs and video before anything is packed.
Crating & handover
Reinforced sea-worthy crates, numbered pieces and a setting-out drawing, so local installers can build it in sequence without us on site.
What arrives
A numbered kit, not a pallet of stone.
Every consignment is dry-assembled here first, photographed assembled, then taken apart and packed. Each piece carries the number it has on the setting-out drawing, so the sequence on site is read off the paper rather than worked out from the stone.
Crating is built to the piece. A deep relief and an open jali screen fail in different ways under the same knock, so they are braced differently — which is the sort of thing you only learn by shipping to four continents.
For specifiers
The questions architects ask first.
Not abroad. We operate a supply-only model internationally: we handle
design, carving, finishing and packing, and your local contractor installs.
Every consignment ships with numbered pieces and a setting-out drawing so
installation is straightforward. On Indian projects we can discuss
supervision separately.
Each piece is packed in reinforced, sea-worthy crating designed for the
weight and the fragility of the carving — deep reliefs and open jali
need different bracing. Consignments go through strict quality control
before crating, and we photograph pieces packed and sealed.
Usually. Send a sample or the quarry name and we will advise on match,
on how that stone behaves under deep carving, and on whether it will hold
the detail your drawing shows. Where a stone cannot carry the detail, we
will say so rather than deliver a compromise.
Machining gives us repeatable geometry to the production tolerance agreed
for the work — especially where a pattern repeats across a facade or
a colonnade must align. The finest undercuts, organic flows and final surface
are always done by hand afterwards, because tooling cannot reach or read
them.
No. We have shipped a single sculptural parasol base and we have shipped
whole facades. What changes with scale is the lead time and the freight
method, not the way the piece is made.
